Monkey Unplugged

So it's summer and we are just super busy.  For instance, today Chloe had a class at The Little Gym, then Evan, then we went out to the Colvin Run Mill in Great Falls, VA to make ice cream (because it's always a good idea to be out and about when it's 100 degrees), to the pool to beat the heat, and finally at home to eat and put all the sleepy children (and adults) to bed.  And my point for all of this is that I will post, it will be sporadic, and you should be happy with what you get (which I mean as nicely as I can).

For this post I thought I'd share with you a typical night in the Castrucci household.  You all know, if you've read my blog at least once before, that Evan is musically inclined (or obsessed with all things music-related).  So I took some videos of what happened tonight.

But before I can get to the videos I need to give you some background.  Two important facts:
  1. This past Christmas I gave Evan Tinker Toys (to continue with my consistent giving of gifts that are not age appropriate).  He started playing with them over the last few weeks.  He REALLY started playing with them once I built a microphone out of them.  He REALLY REALLY likes that microphone.
  2. About a week ago Brian told Evan that if he talked in to the fan it would sound funny.
And so here is Evan, unplugged and raw (all of this happens when Chloe goes to sleep and Evan gets to pretend he is an only child again):

The Hokey Pokey

Puff the Magic Dragon

 Baa Baa Black Sheep
